Painting & Decorating
Decorators for London homes, where the preparation outlasts the paint.
Interior and exterior work, woodwork, wallpaper and specialist finishes: every surface filled, sanded and primed before a single topcoat, with the room masked off and left clean at the end of each day.
What the job covers
The result is in the prep, not the paint.

01
Woodwork and trim
Skirting, architraves, doors and stairs — sanded back, filled, knotted and primed, then topcoated in a satin or eggshell that wears hard and doesn't chip the first time it's knocked.

02
Exterior and facades
Render, masonry, front doors, sash windows and railings — scraped back, filled, primed and sealed against the weather, then coated in masonry paint or exterior eggshell built to last outside, with access sorted as part of the job.

03
Wallpapering
Hand-printed, textured and patterned papers — walls lined first where they need it, paper matched and hung with the pattern true at every seam. A single feature wall or a whole room.

04
Specialist finishes
Lime wash, polished plaster, micro-cement and hand-applied paint effects — worked on by hand for a depth and texture flat emulsion can't give, on both modern and period walls.

05
Colour and spec advice
Not sure what colour, or what finish? We'll bring sample boards and tester patches and look at them in the room's actual light before you commit, pulling from the usual premium lines as well as standard trade ranges.

06
Walls and ceilings
Cracks raked and filled, walls sanded flat, then two full coats cut in by hand — flat, eggshell or a durable matt to suit the room. The prep is where the time goes, and it's why the finish holds up.
Decorating questions
Beforeyou start.
- A single sitting room — walls, ceiling and trim, in sound condition — is usually a two-to-three-day job. A room that needs real prep, like filling cracked plaster or stripping old wallpaper, adds a day or two. A whole flat or house is quoted and scheduled room by room so the place stays liveable and you can see exactly what each room costs. You get a dated plan before we start.
